How to Prepare Your Car for Interior Detailing

A few simple steps give the detailer more time to clean and make the quote more accurate.

Remove valuables and loose belongings

Take out money, documents, electronics, work items, toys, and anything important. Empty door pockets, cup holders, the center console, and the cargo area when possible.

Handle child seats before the appointment

Remove child seats if you want the area underneath cleaned. The customer should reinstall and secure child seats after the service unless a different plan is agreed in advance.

Point out stains, spills, and damage

Tell us what caused a stain or odor, when it happened, and what products have already been used. Also point out torn fabric, loose trim, cracked leather, or sensitive electronics.

Send photos of heavy conditions

Photos of pet hair, stains, spills, cargo areas, third-row seating, or heavy debris help us give a more accurate quote before the appointment.

Plan for drying time

Fabric and carpet may be slightly damp after deeper cleaning. Leave enough time for ventilation and drying, especially in cool or humid weather.

Plan your shop drop-off

Confirm your appointment time, remove personal items, and arrange a ride if the service will take several hours. We will provide an expected pickup window with your quote.
