Why Valiant exists
I built the next chapter one honest promise at a time.
I wanted Valery and Brian to see that a changed plan is not a ruined life. We can be hurt without becoming hard, and uncertain without giving up on hope.
Valiant started with the next thing I could do well: show up, keep my word, care for one customer at a time, and come home ready to listen to their dreams. Those ordinary acts of courage became this business.
I could not promise them a life untouched by change. I could promise them a father who would keep returning with love—and keep beginning again.

Valery and Brian,
Before Valiant was a business, it was a promise: whatever changed around us, I would keep coming back to you with love.
I wish I could have protected you from every confusing moment. I cannot rewrite them, but I can make sure you know this: none of it was your fault, none of it made you harder to love, and you will never have to earn your place beside me.
Val comes from Valery. Ian comes from Brian. Together, you make Valiant.
Your names are here because your love reminded me to keep going. You were never the weight I carried. You were the reason I remembered I could stand back up.
Being brave does not mean pretending nothing hurts. Brave people feel deeply, ask for help, rest when they need to, and take the next step when they are ready.
